Current METRO Group Asset Management Projects

In August 2009, METRO Group Asset Management opened its sixth shopping center in Turkey in Merter, Istanbul. The Center will be covered by a roof that reacts to the prevailing weather. It will open and close as required and a solar-chilling mechanism will use solar energy to operate the Center's air conditioning. The Center will house 50 stores in 30,000 m² of space.

In only 9 months, METRO Group Asset Management has realized a logistics center for METRO Group Logistics (MGL) in the Russian town Noginsk. With 41,000 sqm, it is the largest of the group and the first in Russia. More
